By

Virtue of the powers vested in the Military Govzrnment,

of

Sants Domingo, the following Executive Order to przvent the

introduztion into the Dominican Republic of dangeous com-

munic-:Ae animal diseases, and to prevent the spreading of such

diseases within

the

Republic and for other purposes,

is

hereby

dictated and promulgated

the period of one month.

Section

3.-

It

shall be unlawful for any

person,

firm

or

corporation knowingly

to

ship or otherwise bring into the Domi-

nican Republic any animal suffering from, infected by or dead

of

any dangerous communicable disease, or any effects pertain-

ing

to such animal which are liable

to

introduce such disease into

the

Dominican Republic: Provided that, any such animal or ef-

fects

permitted by the Secretarv of Agriculture and Im-

deemed by him sufficient to prevent
