the powers vested in the Military Government

of Santo D,omingo, the following Executive Order is hereby pro-

mulgated

:

John Loomis, Trezsurer of the Dominican Republic is hereby

appointed Assistant to the Officer-in-Charge of the Department

of

Staie of Finance aiid Commerce ar?3 Assistant

of

the Officer-

in-Charge

of

Food Control, with authority

to

administer the

affairs

of

both Departments

in

the absence of the Officer-in-

Charge. This appointment

is

made in

the

place of Lieutenant

Commander Lybrand

P.

Smith, United States Navy who, having

duty in the United States, is hereby relieveid

of

the administration

of
